As a Pediatric Research Assistant, I was responsible for data entry, storage, and report composition in the research department, as well obtaining informed consent for recruitment and ensuring follow-ups in the clinical setting. "TARGetKids!" is the largest pediatric research project in Canada, and a joint initiative between St. Michael's Hospital and SickKids Hospital. It was my responsibility to ensure confidentiality and accuracy in the accurate entry of hundreds of 10–15 page completed paper study questionnaires into the official electronic study database. Moreover, through this role, I developed exceptional time-management, prioritization, and multitasking skills, as I planned and organized weekly schedules, so to achieve overarching goals within the separate tasks of data organization and promoting study participation.
