  Designed, developed, and implemented a COVID-19 testing program in July 2020 by partnering with various medical testing companies to provide more efficient, faster turnaround PCR testing for pediatric patients that resulted in over 500 tests being performed. Coordinated with the Fairfax County Health Department and the Virginia Department of Health to deploy a COVID-19 vaccination campaign that resulted in the vaccination of over 2,500 individuals ages twelve and over in the Northern Virginia area. Appointed practice manager of 50+ ADHD patients and 20+ mental health patients. Coordinate with parents and patients to ensure completion of assessments for physician interpretation and follow-up. Triage patients to evaluate the acuity of the condition to prioritize care requirements. Perform patient intake, including assessment of vitals and obtaining patient history. Administer vaccines to patients ranging in age from a few days old to twenty-two years old. Perform prior authorizations for services and medications, ensuring patients receive the medications they need by filing appeals with insurance companies when required. Relay bloodwork and imaging results to patients, answer related questions, and schedule appropriate follow-up care or provide specialist referrals. Manage the laboratory and exam room supply inventory, order lab and exam room supplies, and resupply exam rooms. Train new hires in a fast-paced work environment. Show less
