My project is to build a database of all our products to help bid managers to generate offers and strategically reduce the quantity of configurations. In this mission I learn how to manage a project from life cycle. Firstly I realize a needs analysis to establish a technical specification of need. Then I build my project roadmap and budget my plan. Thanks to solid knowledge in Excel and VBA I build the database taking into account Internal process, quality, cost and delay. Internship as Method technician my mission was to analyze work area and the parts produced, define specifications and requirements, produce an IT tool, implement and adjust it. In the DMAIC method, my first step was to create precise plan of the storage area. In parallel, thanks to a 3D and Mathematical study, I define the strategic bundle of each size of pipe. I also define strategic quantity of stocks to reduce storage and supply cost after having analyzed the use of each item. In my final plan the storage area has been reduced by around 20%. Show less
