I have been working with Nicolas for quite a few years, and he keeps impressing me with the algorithms he comes up with. The latest were a real game changer for Phase One http://petapixel.com/2015/12/28/a-side-by-side-comparison-of-live-view-on-hasselblad-and-phase-one-digital-backs/ I have seen and discussed several other of Nicolas algorithms and apart from being one of the smartest guys I know, he's also able to explain, even the most complex math in a way, that is understandable. Nicolas is also a very kind and likable person that I felt I had known for years after our first meeting. I really can't recommend Nicolas enough.

Nicolas has supported Booking.com with several image processing related projects. Great work!

High performance image processing algorithm design and tuning, including image resampling (resizing, lens and keystone correction), demosaicing, color antialiasing and sharpening, contrast-based focus metering, and JPEG compression, implemented in C++, SSE and AVX by myself, and OpenCL and on the FPGA by colleagues.
