I have worked for Dallas Harley Davidson close to a year now. And I really wish I’d have chose this career path earlier in my life. My day to day tasks are essentially relationship building with my customers. Establishing a understanding of their want and needs and honing in on that information and helping them find the bike and deal that best suits both. It is my duty to establish value in myself, my product and all departments in the dealership. Through the sales process I perform all aspects of the deal outside of the actual pencil, which one of my sales managers build and hand back off to me to close and proceed through the following steps of the process. If deals are not made on the initial conversation it is my job to follow up and work the lead to the furthest extent to help move forward with a deal to be made. I also follow up after deals are closed and the customer takes delivery of the bike. Ensuring that they always have a point of contact at the dealership.

For seven years I worked for various companies in local 105 leading a team(s) to execute completion of various projects primarily in Architecture sheet metal panel systems. It was my responsibility to meet the scheduled timeline safely with our customers expectations being met or exceeded. Projects ranged from The Los Angeles Metro, Disneyland, various apartment high rises scattered throughout Southern California etc. My primary responsibility would be to create relationships with the general contractors I worked with and coordinate between them and the company I was employed by. Team building, delegating and training my apprentices was a consistent duty I would perform not just to benefit our current project but also to help pay it forward to my fellow tradesmen.

I worked for Solar Max for a year as a sales rep. I traveled to home shows and generated leads in which I’d follow up on and set my own appointments to go to their home in the Southern California region and build systems for customers to help offset rising energy prices. I would search for financing options as well as find federal and state funding that they would qualify for to help offset the expense of the system required to power their homes. I would follow up with customers and also be there to coordinate through the install.

I worked for Madison industries the better part of 3 years for them directly and also for a subcontractor. I operated my own work truck with a crew and traveled multiple state (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Hawaii etc.) I built gas station canopies, solar canopies and car washes. I had various people on my crews through which I led to execute steel and sheet metal canopies and also working with various panel systems for the build at hand. Working with inspectors to ensure different city codes were met as required. Fabricated and problem solved as obstacles occur to the completion of the project to be met on schedule and push forward to the next build.
