J'ai eu la chance de travailler avec Nicolas lors de mon service civique au SVI. Il a été mon tuteur pendant 8 mois et a su se montrer parfaitement à l'écoute, toujours disponible et prêt à me soutenir dans mon travail tout en me laissant l'autonomie dont j'avais besoin. Nicolas sait valoriser le potentiel de chacun, déceler la personnalité des jeunes qu'il encadre et adapter son accompagnement en fonction. Son empathie et sa bienveillance ont grandement contribué à instaurer un climat de confiance et une très bonne ambiance de travail au sein du SVI. Nicolas and I worked together as coordinators of SVI for more than 1,5 year. While having our own pace and personalities, we found a way to function as two complementary forces. I don’t know if that would have been possible with someone else than Nicolas. I have witnessed him bring a balance to our team, be the stable force our little group needed to keep moving forward. His analytical mind makes him a great asset as he can develop long term goals in accordance with the organization’s vision and values. Nicolas is patient and reliable. He provides guidance to those who need it and is always good to have around if you want to have some insightful advice, to question and deconstruct your work, find purposeful projects, or just have an interesting conversation. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have him as a colleague. Beware though, that he will probably become a friend too.

Supervision of various missions set up by the public relations office of La Casa Hogar los Gorriones, a Peruvian orphanage in Ayacucho, Peru, fostering handicapped children. I was in charge of the construction project, the coordination of the volunteers, the set up of benefits events, the fundraising and the communication.I maintained the connection between los Gorriones and his network of partners, ensuring the sustainability of the different projects, finding new funding sources and strengthening the bond with the current sponsors.
