  I was a Marine Corps Logistics officer for approximately nine years. At times I was in direct command of between 50 and 250 Marines, and about $200 million dollars of equipment. I was solely responsible for moving teams of Marines around the world, to include sending a team of 50 Marines to Haiti to provide security during a coup in 2005. I also deployed to Iraq twice during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In those capacities I did many different duties. In 2007 I worked directly with the Iraqi Army as the Camp Commander. I was in charge of making sure that food and fuel arrived, and that the maintenance on all generators and equipment stayed on point.
