  I worked as the online content manager and producer for Grocott’s Mail Online. Grocott's Mail is South Africa's oldest independent newspaper. I managed content on the website and social media accounts. I also produced content (videos, photographs and stories) for the website and print edition. I assisted with layout and design of the print edition when needed. I was also involved in running online training workshops for the editorial staff. The National Arts Festival is the biggest annual celebration of the arts on the African continent.My position entailed liaising with specialist editorial staff, managing accommodation and transport bookings, liaising with NAF event organisers and student staff, as well as assisting with the daily newspaper production as assistant to the head of the design team.
