Action Renewables supports commercial renewable energy development, develops and supports European Projects, offers quality assurance to the renewable energy industry – Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation and provides advice and information to Government. As Business Development Manager at Action Renewables my role involves running and developing the Action Renewables Association, marketing and PR initiatives and developing new business. Action Renewables is the secretariat for the All Party Group on Renewable Energy at Stormont. This group was set up in September, 2012 to inform MLAs and Ministers on the benefits of Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency such as Wind, Solar, Biomass and geothermal etc. The All Party Group is chaired by Steven Agnew (MLA Green Party pro renewables) and consists of a core of 10 MLAs from the ETI (Enterprise Trade and Investment) committee, responsible for energy and MLAs from the Environment committee, responsible for planning surrounding renewables. I manage the meeting calendar for the All Party Group.

I worked in a Business Development Assistant role at Quadra Ltd and was responsible for driving forward the corporate marketing strategy.
