Lead Teacher of the Deaf of a 16 place Resourced Provision.Lead Teacher of the Deaf for the LA commissioned Deaf Specialist Advisory and Support Team for secondary and post 16. This is a service that has been seriously lacking and has been need of extensive development.-designed, created and developed a database system to file, track and manage student details.-driving the formation of a joint service between early years and primary with secondary and post 16 outreach provision.-development of a information and service website acting as a main resource point for Luton's Deaf children, young people and their families.

Assistant SEND Advocate

• Supporting lead advocate in all manner of activities associated with EHCN Assessment application, applications to the SEND Tribunal, school placement searches and comparisons and researching activities for families that can be funded by direct payments from social care.• Review and amendments of EHC Plans to accurately reflect all appendices, highlighting ambiguous wording for it to be changed to more specific and quantified language. Ensuring that all needs as assessed by professionals and their recommendations for provision are detailed in Section B and F (respectively).

Specialist Teacher of the Deaf in Charge of HI ARP

I have been employed as a Specialist Teacher of the Deaf in Charge of ARP since January 2015. My responsibilities have included:-direct line management of ARP staff-tracking, monitoring and responsibility of progress for ARP students.-Annual review of County funding in lines with the SEN code of practise 2015.-Termly representation on the SEN Advisory Panel and ARP decision panel for Bucks CC.-Design and implementation of tailored provision for ARP students.In Nov 2016 I stepped up as Acting SENDCO and remained in post until Aug 2017. This included the responsibilities above plus:-Budget management for SEN department including HI and PD ARP.-Whole school learning and development training on Special Needs.-Development and managment of CPD programme for SEN staff.-Sharing good practise to mainstream staff.-Designing and implementing a referal system to increase support for non SEN students.-Design and implementation of an effective time management system so staff efficiencies could be made.-Annual review of provision as funded by Buckscc for SEN EHCP cohort.-Staff recruitment.

Backstage Director

Fashion International at London Fashion week is a leading multi-designer runway event showcasing British and International, new, emerging and established designers. As Backstage Director at this fast paced and high pressure event, my responsibility for management covers 2 model pools (<24 total), 6/7 designers and a team of dressers. In the lead up to the show, I oversee the fittings and organisation of designer outfits with models ensuring that the organisation of dressings and outfits allows for a smooth transition and does not negatively affect the show in terms of delays or changes to model running order. During the show dressers follow my directions for changes of clothing and sending on of models.Top Model UK is a an 8 month search for model talent ending with a finale show during April. We host a multi designer, multi category show Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. My management responsibility increases to <150 amaeatur models, 20 hair and MUAs, 12 dressers and 4 senior staff whilst continuing to work with the Operations Director and stepping in on Front of House business where needed.

Club Sports Therapist

Qualified with Level 3 Sports Massage (VTCT) via Sports Therapy UK, I completed work experience with Aylesbury FC from Nov 2015 to June 2016. After the club doctor retired I was invited back to be their Club Therapist. This included attending training sessions and weekend fixtures to provide massage service and pitch side first aid.

Heathlands has been providing outstanding education for deaf children and young people since 1975. The school’s vision statement “Become the best you can be” is applied to all we do. Staff members set high expectations for pupils, encouraging each child to achieve academically, develop independence and to contribute positively in their communities. This requires a child centred and flexible approach so that individual needs are identified and supported.
