I worked with Nicola as her manager for just over two years at Prime Meridian Direct. She started her journey as one of the initial members of our Preservations team. I quickly realised that Nicola was one of those amazing people that brought happiness to everyone she interacted with. She brought up everyone’s mood and it was hard not to feel energized in her presence based on the positivity that bounds off her. Nicola had a way with clients, she was friendly and interacted with them on a human level which is sometimes missing in call centre environments. The thing that set Nicola apart was that she genuinely cared about her clients, empathy and kindness are amazing qualities that Nicola has in abundance. It was for this reason that when we started our Client Experience team, Nicola was the first person on our list. Nicola started our Client Experience team and built the foundations of what is now a fully-fledged team provided rich feedback to our business that makes a material change in our client’s lives. Without her efforts, we would not be where we are today. She built the SOP’s, the scripts, defined what types of questions would be used and the rules around asking these questions. We expanded the team in time and with Nicola in the lead grew from strength to strength. At the end of 2018, we needed a supervisor to lead our Photos and Client Experience teams and Nicola stood out as the best candidate for the role. She had set the foundations for one team and looked like a leader in the making. We gave her the opportunity and never looked back as she never gave us a reason to. She built trust with her teams and had amazing relationships based on great communication. The same care she showed clients was even more apparent with her teams and this translated into fantastic results. Nicola was a hands-on supervisor who took initiative every day to make the teams better. She was innovative in her approach and in the 9 months as supervisor made a tremendous change to lead these teams to new heights. Nicola was a fantastic asset to have within PMD, she was hard-working, diligent and always interested in her development. She lifted her team around her and made the working environment all that much better. I consider myself lucky to have worked with and learnt from her. She will be missed. I believe Nicola’s time at Prime Meridian Direct was a great stepping stone and I have no doubt she will aspire to amazing things particularly in the Client Experience space. I would highly recommend Nicola as she will be an asset to any institution she joins.

My duties involved: developing marketing strategies to grow databases, compiling and sending out event invitations, updating the website and social media with the latest event details, updating the online ticketing system and invoicing clients. I also hosted events which involved setting up the venue, greeting attendees, stock take and overseeing that it ran smoothly. I taught a class of fifteen children aged 2-3. I was responsible for organising daily activities that promoted creativity, perceptual and motor skill development. I assessed each child and kept their parents updated on their progress. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching fifteen little humans and seeing them grow throughout the year. It was a very rewarding experience. In the afternoons I was the aftercare driver for which I obtained my PDP drivers license. I taught a class of fifteen children aged 2-3.
