Nicola and I worked together in the Armed Forces programme team. Together we delivered support to the NHS in engaging with the Armed Forces agenda. Nicola is a key member of the team and is accountable for providing assistance to NHS Trusts to implement personnel policies which are supportive of Armed Forces reservists. Additionally, Nic was personally responsible for helping many NHS organisations to achieve the Gold Employer Recognition Scheme award, issued by the Ministry of Defence. As part of her duties managing the network, Nicola organises and chairs regular meetings of Armed Forces champions. At these meetings she is able to drive the involvement of individual members and ensure the events met their objectives, always generating positive feedback. Nicola has highly developed skills in writing for her audience including blogs, case studies and web content. She is an excellent team member who generates very positive relationships and has been a pleasure to work with. She would be a valuable asset to any organisation.
