During my time at 288 Group, I assisted in the day to day management of stock levels, and was responsible for directly communicating with suppliers and drawing up purchase orders. For a time, I was also responsible for product development - this included drawing up creative briefs for the design team, as well as product costings and RRP decisions, alongside researching and summarising information for accompanying certificates. I interacted with different sectors of the business on a daily basis and communicated with various departments depending on the product needs. I was also responsible for writing copy for offline and online marketing, including email, Facebook ads, landing page sequences, product pages, blog posts, letters, brochures, and other product related materials. I also was responsible for proof-reading marketing material for offline channels and approving before print runs. Show less

Store Supervisor

Jun 2015 - Jul 2018
Whilst I was studying at university, I also worked part time for three out of the four years I was there. I was responsible for locking up the shop, interacting with customers and colleagues on a professional basis every day, and also handled large amounts of cash every shift. My skills in time management and delegation were utilised every day, to ensure all of my tasks were completed in a timely manner to a good standard. As a Supervisor, I was responsible for ensuring that any disputes within the store - from customers and staff alike - were resolved quickly, and as such have become able to defuse any tense situations, and used my judgment to get the necessary authorities involved when required. My daily tasks included ensuring new stock was distributed throughout the store and rotated according to the date, price checking, various basic cleaning tasks and that the correct paperwork was completed at the completion of my shift. I also received training in ensuring that all health and safety regulations were met during my shift. Show less
