Be pro-active with users/customers, in offering regular assistance and advice as training and qualifications allow, and in selling and advising of other services offered by Sport Northumbria.Maintain a friendly and welcoming presence in the Fitness Suites while ensuring that users observe all safety rules and use the facilities in a courteous and acceptable manner. Follow set procedures for maintenance and reporting repairs. Ensure that relevant Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) procedures are strictly followed. Assist the supervisory staff in the monitoring, recording, implementing, reviewing, and improving of quality standards as required and training allows. Supervise the facilities generally at all times when on shift as training and qualifications allow. Provide a first aid service to visitors customers and other staff as required. Erect, dismantle and move equipment. Undertake cleaning and spot cleaning to achieve and maintain the set and published standards of presentation of the facility.Follow set procedures for maintenance and the reporting and monitoring of repairs. Ensure that relevant Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) procedures are strictly followed. Undertake checks as required to ensure that facility users have paid the appropriate fees to use the facilities. Provide a front of house service to customers and visitors to the facility, taking bookings, processing payments for services, and answering queries. Follow the site Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP) as required. Operate machinery and plant including swimming pool plant as training allows.
