      • The preparation of over 80 sets of FS inc entities regulated by the FCA as well as non-regulated entities and dormant companies. Prepared under IFRS but early adoption of FRS 100 and 101 has meant a change. Also prepare several sets of stats that are prepared under US GAAP and Gibraltar GAAP.• Project based initiatives. E.g. in 2013 I was involved in the decision to early adopt FRS 100 and 101. This meant liaising with both auditors and management to ensure everyone understood the implications involved. It meant significant changes to the disclosures in the FS so also had to ensure that we had stakeholder buy-in. Shareholder agreements had to be reviewed to ensure that the changes were compatible with their terms.• Auditor liaison – As a FTSE 250 firm with many FCA regulated entities our auditors are on site for a significant proportion of the financial year. I co-ordinate the audits, prioritising our regulated entities and ensuring that all of the deliverables needed are delivered in a timely fashion. This means having strong relationships with both the management accountants to ensure that they deliver the information required in a timely and effective manner and also with the auditors to ensure that their presence has a minimal impact on BAU.• Quarterly reporting – As we are present in the US we have a requirement to prepare quarterly financial reports under the SEC regulations. This includes reporting on our associates.• Preparation of Board Reports – I prepare monthly financial reports to be presented to the Board of Directors for all of our regulated entities. I need to be comfortable with all of the figures and understand the implications of the information being presented so that I can answer any questions the directors may have.• Preparation of Corporation Tax computations - Preparation of CT comps for all of our UK based entities (approx 50). I liaise with the Group tax team to ensure that Group relief is applied in the most effective manner.
