  TA in an EYFS unit for 60 children, currently going into year 2 for the next 2019/20 academic year. I’ve been able to gain experience in Forest learning, leading small groups and working 1:1 with children. Recently I’ve worked more with some of the EAL children to improve their vocabulary and confidence. I planned my own activities for our small group time and after 6 weeks they had gained confidence in talking during learning time and also to other teaching staff and making new friends. I have contributed to the wider life of school, helping with summer fairs, parent events, showcase performances and running my own cheerleading club.   In year 10 at school, it was compulsory to undertake two weeks work experience of our own choice. I went to my local primary school in a year 6 class and it gave me the initial idea to work with children. Granted I was still a young age but I found the experience useful and still undertook tasks to support the children in the classroom and do duties for the class teacher.
