A diverse and challenging role of supplying replacement pumps and spares to various domestic and international markets including; the marine sector, industry and manufacturing, mining, food & drink, building services, pharmaceutical, waste water, oil & gas and power generation. Specialising in a large range of pump types and spares including; end suction centrifugal pumps, vertical in-line centrifugal pumps, horizontal multistage pumps, vertical multistage pumps, split casing pumps, screw pumps, progressive cavity pumps, gear pumps, side channel pumps, air operated diaphragm pumps, flexible impeller pumps, magnetic drive chemical pumps, dosing pumps, piston/plunger pumps, barrel pumps and submersible pumps. Duties include: • Management of the main sales email account from which the majority of enquiries are received into the company. Ensuring that the necessary information is present before distributing to a member of the sales team. This requires a multitude of skills including; attention to detail, fairness, awareness of staff workloads and technical and commercial awareness. Training new members of staff and monitoring their ongoing progress. • Handling incoming enquiries. • Ensuring correct selection of spares and equipment is made in line with customer requirements. • Procure materials on a competitive basis. • Prepare detailed quotations to customer specifications. • Follow up quotations and provide customer support. • Secure orders by means of careful evaluation of customer needs, prompt and correct responses and offering pricing that maximises profit to the company but also assures that we are competitive, within the constraints laid down by the directors of the company. • Identify 'key customers' in key market sectors, being End-user, contractor, distributors and OEM's. • Keeping abreast of an evolving portfolio of products. • Order processing- Ensuring that orders are processed accurately, efficiently and delivered on time.
