As manager I was responsible for the routine management and strategic development of Chastleton House, As well as a highly sensitive and significant Jacobean house and outstanding garden, small estate and holiday accommodation, I managed a workforce of c140 volunteers and nine paid staff and a combined project and operations budget of c£600k. Key achievements include successful conversion of stables into offices, additional outbuilding/ estate building restorations and refurbishments, very high visitor, staff and volunteer satisfaction surveys, and substantial conservation works to the house structure.
