Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time is a YouTube channel that produces comedy videos on violent and agressive cooking. Together with my dear friend Isak Anklew, we started a parody show based on the popular EpicMealTime YouTube channel. Our vision was to present a new perspecive on what it means to be swedish and cook traditional swedish dishes. The show was regarded as a highly appreciated and successful during its most active years. We were acknowledged my both YouTube and many other popular media channels as one of the most popular shows in Sweden. While the channel is rather small compared to the most popular ones, such as EMT, PewDiePie and Smosh, it was still seen as grand in comparison to the number of uploaded videos / number of subscribers and views. With only around 35 uploaded videos, we had a very high subscriber/viewers per video per video. The channel is on a break at the moment, and no further comments can be given about it at this time. Between April and September 2012, I was employed as an assisting user experience designer at North Kingdom, Skellefteå. I was also involved in some minor projects, back and forth. Most of the work I did was around concept and user experience development, wireframing and evaluation of interface design etc. If you have any questions or comments on this work and content, please send a message and I'd be happy to answer them for you. We were asked to create a proactive campaign for the gaming convention Nordsken in Skellefteå. We wanted to create an integrated experience, with elements accessible for anyone with ease, and still maintain what drives players forward and find interesting. The concept in short, was that people would use their phones to collected treasures throughout the city, Skellefteå. Treasures were found on small notes with the TING logo and a QR code. If you would scan a code, you'd receive a random item worth 1, 2 or 3 points. You could not collect the same item over and over again, as it would not provide any more points. The campaign went on for approximately 1 week before the convention, and it was also running alongside the event itself, with many codes hidden around the area. Here is a video one of the admins put up of people trying to scan a code from a big screen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DuCVh9En2o And the official website: http://ting.nordsken.se/ In the end, with the resources we had, which was pretty a team consisting of 4 students and 1 developer provided by Nordsken, we had to limit the scope of the project to something that would be more realistic within the given timeframe. We wanted to include a more elaborate progression system and collaborative progress, but in the end, the less complex system we ended up with was regarded as useful and successful. Much of the work was centered around the holistic approach to accessibility and purpose, rather than design and micro-rewards, such as the end-price for the winner. We wanted people to perceive it as useful and fun in general, and appreciate it even if the would not win. Meta-rewards such as continuous effort of collecting treasure and intention to keep up interest was an interesting and fun challenge to tackle. I had projectbased employment at S2Games (Heroes of Newerth, Savage 2 etc), as a motion graphics designer. I did various motion design work. Introductions for new heroes, introductory videos and more. Sample work; I did everything in the video below. The only things I did not do, was direct the flow of content and voice over. Otherwise, graphics, animations, sound and edit was all done by me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW4oF4NMZ7A I had projectbased employment at S2Games (Heroes of Newerth, Savage 2 etc), as a motion graphics designer.
