• Thoroughly audited the business to dramatically reduce overheads and identify key areas for improvement. Restructured the business from functioning as a social club into a profitable football club, with a focus on increasing revenue from varied sources.• Implemented new streams of revenue from football and other forms of entertainment, including private hire, bar takings, football tournaments, club social events, memberships and an online fashion business. • Won a prestigious Charter Standard Award in the first 2 years, awarded by the Football Association in recognition of outstanding administration and safety within youth football. Only 3 out of 200 teams had achieved this standard. • Secured a new £300,000 football pitch from the National Grid, through effective negotiation following essential pipeline works, enabling the National Grid to achieve government carbon footprint targets. • Efficiently project managed a major renovation, installed a new bar and football pitch.• Significantly increased the club membership by 250% through advertising, word of mouth and community activities. Engaged in a marketing campaign to raise local awareness of the club, and bolster the adult and youth team membership.• Dramatically improved team performance, driving the club to semi-pro status. • Generated an impressive £12,000 through fundraising and £16,000 in sponsorship per year from local businesses, including sponsorship for all 16 youth teams, enabling children from disadvantaged backgrounds to play football free of charge.
