Digital Executive

May 2017 - Apr 2021
May 2017 - August 2019: Communications and Video Assistant August 2019 - April 2021: Digital Executive I was responsible for managing The Lowry’s social media platforms, and the creation of all in-house branded video content for the theatre shows, artist development, galleries, shop, restaurant, corporate events, Learning and Engagement and digital signage around the building. The Lowry hosts hundreds of shows per year, and has the biggest following out of all venues in Greater Manchester - with 150,000+ followers across all platforms. I created social media campaigns, coming up with creative content ideas that engaged followers, maximised reach and promoted the shows. I filmed promotional stunts, adverts, events, backstage sneak-peaks and interviews with audience attendees, show talent and staff, then edited them to brand guidelines often within a very short time frame in order to reach local journalistic coverage of events. I used Sprout Social to schedule and post the content, using relevant tags, titles and descriptions to maximise organic reach. I used Facebook Ads Manager to target the content to potential audiences, increase DTC interaction and sell tickets. I regularly live streamed on Facebook during events, which proved popular with audiences who could not attend or wanted to see behind the scenes. My content was popular with online audiences and local press, with some videos gaining 100,000+ reach on our platforms. They have also been featured on Manchester Evening News’ website and Facebook, which boasts a following of 1.6 million. The content I published played a key part of each show's marketing campaign, and I provided detailed analytical reports on the success of these at the end of each one. I also made updates to The Lowry's website, which is built using WordPress, and our Intranet system, ensuring all content is up to date and performing to its maximum potential. Show less

I continually monitored and recorded data performance to maximise optimisation of both the social media channels and e-marketing. I built Business Intelligence reports in AudienceView and imported the data extracted into pivot tables formed on Microsoft Excel. I also created flyers, posters, pop-up banner stands and ticket holders for various events and clients. Show less
