I remember Nicky joining the Tesco Electrical team as a Buying Manager and having an immediate impact on the category. Nicky grew her responsibilities very quickly and took each challenge in her stride, never arrogantly and always with a sense of collaboration. Nicky is a natural leader, getting the best out of others with her positive energy and by building trust with her peers, managers, direct reports and cross functionally. Whilst working with Nicky on Direct Sourcing projects I noticed how she always encouraged her team to find solutions to problems, building their capability all the time. I really enjoyed working with Nicky and her refreshing one-team, no-blame style. Nicky has already achieved a lot in her career and there are many roles she could thrive at, but coaching really brings out Nicky's passion and i know she will have a very positive, lost-lasting impact on her clients.
