Nick is superb, highly versatile product leader. When I initially brought him onboard as contractor (before making him perm), he impressed me with his ability to quickly grasp the intricacies of a complex role. That was particularly impressive given he had a team of 7 comprising product managers, product designers and a BA and was overseeing the work on the Silverbird Platform and Onboarding. During his tenure Nick delivered some key strategic initiatives for the business (the first mobile apps, advanced 2FA and multi-entity) as well significant improvements in ways of working by streamlining processes. Nick has many attributes that he's been able to leverage Silverbird. He's very customer centric and eager to engage with users to understand their needs and pain points. He's equally comfortable in a strategic conversation around vision or long term roadmap as he is in the fine detail when reviewing the designs for a high profile feature. Nick is also very data informed - at every opportunity he was drilling into user data to identify wrinkles in UX or opportunities. He's a caring and thoughtful line manager who leans into coaching his direct reports. Nick is also adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders. So in summary a high calibre product leader who's also a lot of fun to be around. I very much hope I get the opportunity to work with Nick again in the future.
