As the Regional Manager for v schools in the SE I am Nick Sankey's line manager. This initiative seeks to engage 14-16 year olds in community action and embed active citizenship within all secondary schools nationally. He is the school advisor for a large case load of schools in Medway and the mid Kent area and he has since April been highly successful in building relationships and interest in this programme with key teachers in the schools. In addition he has shown great energy in developing partnerships with 3rd sector organisations in order to broker direct links with schools. He is a very efficient member of the team, effectively using his time and with a clear focus on outcomes and able to meet all deadlines. He has been very willing to share his IT expertise and support other team members and as a result is a valued and key member of the team. Pratham is one of the largest education NGOs in India. In the words of Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee, "Pratham's impact on the lives of millions of kids has been tremendous; it is quite simply an exceptional, best-in-class organisation that has managed to scale across India." We have won many prizes, including the Kravis Prize, the Skoll Award, the WISE Prize and the LUI Che Woo Prize. Our programmes cover early childhood education, functional skills, girls education, vocational training and EdTech. We are always looking for new supporters and partners, do get in touch if you would like to hear more. We are also growing the team over the next couple of years, so get in touch if you are a fundraiser interested in joining us. Show less
