While on my internship I was able to work directly under the Food & Beverage Director learning purchasing, receiving, wedding planning, special functions, and was able to participate in the planning and developing of a professional golf tournament.My internship project was to create and execute a wine club for the members from scratch. Once a month I had wine reps. from around central florida come in and do wine tastings for our members and give our members a chance to build the wine knowledge and home wine collection. From what I hear it is still growing into one of the clubs largest social events.
