I was assigned to full time 3rd shift with a prepared list of patients to perform an EKG upon during allowed time. This position also tested work environment stress due to the fact when a patient codes (zero heart beat) I would have to rush to patient and perform EKG during the doctors resuscitation sequence if ordered. This EKG had to be done very quickly and perfect due to the patient fighting for his/her life.
