As conference producer of Professional Spa & Wellness Convention DUBAI, it has been a pleasure to work with Nicki in 2015 & 2016. Nicki demonstrated high organizational skills, great rapport with all those involved & delivered very useful insights at the end of the event, as she analyzed the Delegates' survey. I highly recommend her & look forward to working with her again.

I led the launch of the Middle Eastern edition of the Professional Beauty portfolio, which included heading the marketing for: Professional Beauty GCC magazine, Professional Beauty GCC exhibition and Professional Spa & Wellness Convention. With a core team of four, my role was to kick start the company in the right direction. As the PB brand was unknown in this emerging market, my main objective was to build up the reputation of the brand and secure client relationships quickly to promote awareness of the magazine (the first magazine of its kind) in the Middle East, as well as attracting visitors to the event. I took the opportunity to embark on a once in a lifetime adventure volunteering and travelling across Asia, which included a 4-week yoga-teacher training course in the Himalayas, India. It was an incredible experience and one that enriched my life in many ways. Professional Beauty is the UK’s largest beauty and spa event series. Its portfolio includes Professional Beauty London, North & Ireland as well as shows in South Africa and India. I joined Trades Exhibitions when the owner Mark Moloney repurchased the Professional Beauty portfolio from Emap. At this pivotal time, I played a key role in designing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to ensure the first event run by Trades Exhibitions since the repurchase (taking place in February 2011) would substantially increase visitor attendance from the last event run by Emap (which had suffered from dwindling visitor/ exhibitor numbers). We successfully attracted the key brandsin the industry to exhibit and deployed a fruitful marketing campaign drawing 35,000 visitors. This was a 48% increase from the previous Emap-run show.• Worked alongside the Marketing Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, to achieve a 48% London exhibition attendee increase (18k to 35k), as well as a 28% Manchester exhibition attendee increase (17k to 22k) after the Professional Beautyportfolio was purchased from Emap• Individually responsible for the Dublin exhibition, in which I implemented a strategic marketing plan, which included: direct mail, SMS, email and print. Achieving a 45% attendee increase on the previous year• Innovative copy-writing for all marketing activities• Produced and marketed the Professional Spa & Wellness Conference agenda for the 2012 event, increasing delegate attendance by 100% from the previous year (400 delegates)• Successfully launched Professional Beauty India in August 2012, spending two-weeks with the team in Mumbai, building a winning strategic marketing plan• Launched the Professional Beauty social media sites and created social media strategy (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) Show less
