Nickie Johnson and I worked together at Cole Arts and Science Academy. She mentored an intern from the University of Colorado at Denver teacher education program who I was supervising. Being an exceptional teacher, she provided a great model for him in his professional development. She also designed some wonderful Arts and Science Infusion classes that were both innovative and engaging!
