  I rejoined the new TSB Bank after 10 months due to redundancy from previous job. I was re-employed as a full time cashier involved in all aspects of banking and have been lucky to re accredit to be able to open bank accounts and see customers to review accounts and look for products and services with TSB bank such as savings accounts, credit cards and home insurance. In 2017 I did further internal learning further to be able to help more customers with their banking requirements and the ability to process personal loans. I am most happy when helping customers, whether they are wanting to get better interest, borrowing some money for exciting things or open a bank account, or even dealing with complaints at first point of contact or customers who are dealing with bereavements in their families. I also really enjoy the back office parts of the banking and have been able to deal with quarterly Branch Risk Checks and other regular compliance issues, ensuring that the necessary paperwork is completed and that bank policies and procedures are being fully adhered to. I have always been one of the chosen staff members to be placed in front of regular compliance officers for questioning purposes to answer for the branch staff and be scrutinised for risk checks for account opening and lending purposes. I give my full support to the management team at my branch and offering support to colleagues, making myself the go to girl if they have problems or require advice on procedures and where to find additional support. TSB were made an independent U.K bank by Lloyds Banking group in September 2013 to become the newest 200 year old bank on the high street with 631 branches across the UK. In 2015 TSB was purchased by Banco de Sabadell, Spain and we have during 2018 fully separated from Lloyd’s Bank with the switch over to new computer systems. Show less

  I joined Lloyds TSB at the Dorking Branch in Surrey as a part-time Cashier working up to a Senior Customer Service Officer in October 2002. Involved in all aspects of general banking, including account opening, general enquiries, cashiering, cash point, appointment making for Personal Account Managers, Mortgage Advisors and Financial Consultants. Moved to Bude, Cornwall in April 2004 as a Senior CSO dealing with account opening, and account reviews and sales for customers and working on the welcome desk in the banking hall. I changed to full time employment in December 2006, where I have also worked in the position of Head Cashier in addition to seeing daily appointments with customers wishing to discuss their accounts or other aspects of their banking, borrowing or home insurance.
