Going back to the roots with a focus on high level IP consultancy with support from the best of the best. My focus will be developing new international markets and of course creating a portefolio within the usual technical areas such as diagnostics & prognostic markers, molecular biology, particular recombinant nucleic acid, immunology & vaccination techniques, food technology, biochemistry, technology transfer & scouting. IP value extraction will be a special knowledge that I will focus on because licenses and acquisitions of IPR is obviously the ultimate goal. Show less

A third of the revenue of 15 million Euros in P&V came from overseas clients primarily via foreign agents with whom we over the years had established good business relations. Maintaining and growing this network became my responsibility. In this position I sat up a team that e.g. recruited 2 Japanese Patent Attorneys and relocated them to Copenhagen.

During my time at BioSearch I was introduced to P&V as our counsel in IPR, and I was offered a position as Patent Attorney in the Life Science department. P&V was widely known in Europe as being one of the leaders in protection of biotech inventions. Though this earlier hands on experience I had a unique expertise within the areas of molecular biology and medicine and has special knowledge of how to tailor custom-made solutions for universities and small start-ups. I prosecuted and evaluated inventions from a larger number of academia institutions world wide like EMBL, NIH & Beijing University.Licenses and acquisitions of IPR from technology transfer offices is obviously the ultimate goal for such units and being one of the most experienced attorneys in Europe in this field, and I have assisted both the academia institutions and VCs in their hunt for new technologies. We booked all major artists available and managed a production budget of several millions per stage. I also worked as connection between the artist and production staff to make sure that all specialist equipment were accommodated.
