  • Manage a team of 3 maintenance supervisors, 16 maintenance technicians, and 19 various support personnel. • Coordinate all maintenance and facility related activities of a 480,000 square foot aircraft hangar that was built in 1953. • Electrical 120v-13,800v: new installation, maintenance of, and inspection. Recently completed a 2000kva upgrade to the Genie Moses Lake electrical grid. • Fire System: coordinate new installation, adherence to NFPA inspection standards, and finding creative solutions to adapt a system designed for aircraft to an industrial production environment. • Construction: work hand in hand with the county building department and multiple contractors to achieve occupancy of all new construction; per IBC, ADA, and NFPA requirements. Currently in the process of a $3+ million facility upgrade. • Maintenance: transitioning from a reactive maintenance department to a proactive dept. Implementing a true CMMS system where there was previously nothing. Provide the direction to be the best maintenance dept. in the entire Genie corporation. • Facilities: security, janitorial, grounds, lighting, and construction. Recent completion of a 9,800 sqft inspection facility and a 5,600 sqft storage building. Production bay #1 lighting upgrade that increased lighting from 40fc to +80fc. Currently installing a “modern” 4000 sqft executive office/conference room. • Cooperation: Closely work with the Port of Moses Lake and the Grant County airport as the Genie facility borders the GC airport.
