As a marketing and events strategist, I implemented creative and innovative marketing strategies that aligned with our vision and mission, focused on delivery of high-end opportunities for revenue generation and increased usage, helping build a healthy, vibrant, thriving community.Our vision is that Truro/Colchester will be a best-in-class event destination. As the Chair and a leading creator of Events Truro Colchester, I was responsible for identifying, securing, and managing hosting opportunities for our region and have had the pleasure of playing a leading role with many local events such as the 2017 World Junior A Challenge, Grand Slam of Curling Masters 2015, Nova Scotia Music Week (Co-Chair), Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships 2018 (Co-Chair) and the World Women's Hockey Championships (Bid Committee). I was responsible securing events, developing partnerships, leading our promotional efforts, ticket sales strategy, and securing event sponsorship.
