Nick is one of the most strategic, collaborative and creative fundraising and marketing leaders I've had the privilege of working with during my time at War Child UK. When I first met Nick, and within a very short time of working near him in the organisation, it was clear to see that he would be one of the fundraisers we'd want to fast-track into a leadership role very quickly. Whilst supporting me and the senior fundraising leadership team, he's done a fantastic job in driving growth within not only his own Partnerships department, but working together with the other senior fundraising leaders to add value and contribute to income generation in other areas of fundraising, both in the UK and Globally. I remember a corporate partner once saying to me, 'well this fundraiser came in and just transformed the way we engage our staff and approach CSR'. He took that relationship from £200k to over a million unrestricted for War Child UK. I think it's clear to say Nick is awesome at developing relationships and smashing it out of the park on targets! He's also up for trying new things - the last I heard he'd been exploring e-sports and streaming and generating results! Dedication, integrity and innovation are key words that jump out when thinking about Nick. He's a joy to work with, a fantastic fundraising leader, and an asset to any organisation or individual to work with.

Nick is a truly strategic fundraiser and having worked with him across a number of initiatives I have seen him bring complex partnership concepts to life in his efforts to raise funds for War Child UK. I've worked with Nick for almost 6 years at War Child UK and more recently as a long-distance colleague since I moved away to develop fundraising efforts in the US. While working with Nick at War Child UK we worked closely together on growing income for the organization from a number of corporate partnerships. These partnerships were always interesting and varied, and with War Child's roots in entertainment included multiple industries such as gaming, fashion and tech. I always admire Nick's ability to identify ways to collaborate with partners in creative ways, enabling them to visualize new strategic alignments. More recently we work together on ensuring international partnerships are aligned with our efforts in the US market place and with Nick's experience of leading on global partnerships he's a very valuable peer to have.
