Providing Contiki guests with the trip of a lifetime around Aotearoa. As a part of the front line crew, we are responsible for being the face of Contiki, meeting and greeting groups of up to 53 people when they arrive in NZ and spend the next 3-19 days showcasing everything our country has to offer. Also interacting with our travellers with the aim of helping their dreams and goals come to life. Duties include: ▪️Driving and navigating coaches to destinations throught NZ ▪️Provide guests with an on-coach safety briefing ▪️Maintaining coaches (daily checks, minor on-road repairs, cleaning) ▪️Assist Tour Manager with day to day planning of the trip ▪️Sell, book, and take payment for optional excursions throughout NZ ▪️Maintain close professional relationships with suppliers of Contiki ▪️Provide a range of commentary on coach trips and keeping guests informed of plans and timings ▪️Administration (accounting, tour reports) ▪️Attend excursions with our guests and group gatherings ▪️Be available to assist guests 24 hours a day Show less

Part of the emergency services crew for an industrial site managing the Kinleith Industrial Fire Brigade, medical/first aid and site security. Working a 4x4 shift pattern in teams of 5 people, covering a wide range of duties that required close team work aswell as having the ability to work unsupervised for the most part. Duties included: ▪️Responding to all emergency calls not limted to, all types of fire (eg buildings, vehicles), motor vehicle accidents, chemical incidents, flooding and medical emergencies ▪️Operating sophisticated fire fighting, rescue and medical equipment to contain emergency situations ▪️Inspecting and maintaining emergency equipment such as vehicles, water supplies, fire extinguishers throughout the site ▪️Risk reduction services on work sites ▪️Manning a 24 hour on-site medical/first aid facility ▪️Providing a security service for the site including checking parameters, buildings, completing safety inductions for visitors and front desk admin/reception ▪️Constant training and practice drills for emergency situations ▪️Undertaking physical and academic training and exams, gaining NZQA recognised qualifications Show less
