I had the pleasure of working with Nick for a couple of years. He is a talented Marketer and is able to expertly navigate the intersection between strategy and creative expression, which is something I have found to be rare. Nick often demonstrated the drive needed to ensure all the brands delivered real value. At a time when customers and markets are constantly changing, all organisations need the ability to redesign and restructure the market based on new strategic concepts and customer insights. I have only met a few people with this ability and Nick is one of them.

Nick is the rarest of the rare. A creative and strategic thinker whose equal I have yet to meet. Having worked with Nick in various agencies, I'm always struck by the way he thinks and his relentless pursuit to only ever strive for the very best and then even further. And I'm not alone, everyone Agency and Client side would agree that he is excellent.

Nick is a superb Executive Creative Director and Executive Marketer. He is a true thinker, great writer, innovative creative and a genuine team leader. Nick has the unique ability to generate ideas then motivate clients and teams to achieve not just great outcomes, but the best outcomes. To top that off he is sincere, authentic and has a terrific sense of humour, making it a real pleasure to work with him. I highly value the time that we worked together.

Isobar Australia - now owned by Dentsu Aegis - was built from the takeover of One Digital, one of Australia's earliest digital agencies. I started after this transition and worked here until Aegis bought the Mitchell Group in 2011. In this volatile environment, we ran the historical HSBC account and won the Subaru account. For Subaru, we helped bring digital thinking to the middle of marketing strategy and launched a new strategic platform to integrate Subaru's consumer site with it's dealer network, pre-owned vehicles, after sales and CRM program. We also launched Subaru Active as a social media platform leveraging Subaru's involvement with lifestyle-based communities such as cycling, motorsport, triathlon, golf, travel, snowboarding and skiing.

Hyro was a development company with over 600 staff across Australasia. In this time (pre-serious SEO, iPhone/Android, Apps, PDPs and HTML 5) we proposed and produced stunning animations that pushed Flash to the limit (and admittedly chugged across many channels) for clients as diverse as Canon, BigPond, Channel V, Electrolux, Honda, Intel, Lion Nathan, NAB, Open Universities, Rabobank, Red Bull, RM Williams, Spirt of Tasmania, Unilever and Warner Music. I was hired as the digital creative director across the breadth of CBA business and helped to develop the first online campaigns, microsites, online videos and interactive self-help tools and calculators the bank had ever produced. I was involved with 2 x redesigns of the consumer site and 2 x iterations of NetBank which has evolved into one of the World's leading apps for online banking.
