I have had pleasure working closely with Nick during my time in China. Agriculture is the fundamental of the business, his depth understanding about Chinese culture and the business operation has transformed the business year on year, from the most fundamental improvement on beet planting strategy to beet price reduction initiatives, I admire his ability to always challenge the norm, always looking at things in different angle. He is very much commercial minded and goal driven, which made him a great agriculture director. He is also collaborative and passionate about the work, a fun person to work with and I can only say that I wish there was a Nick on every team!

I still remember the day Nick was promoted to Agriculture Development Director; how time flies as four years have passed already. It was a time of change and transformation for AB Sugar China group. Nick stands up to all the challenges and maintained great team cohesion. Personally we've been good friends, however, I must say he's a workaholic during the three years we worked together. He is a great leader, knowing how to communicate with Chinese team in Mandarin or dialect, and more importantly, in a local way. Working with him is both enjoyable and challenging, yet very rewarding. He is always the one with passion, always in pursuit of perfection. The performance review indicators speak better than me:) Continuous improvement is what I see in Nick. He has the great combination of technology and management, with a proven record of working successfully in multicultural backgrounds with all levels of society.
