I work in the NF(Non Fragile) Department at the TJ Maxx Distribution Center in Evansville. My job mainly consists of ticketing merchandise and then selecting it to go to different stores across the country. I was hired March 21st, 2016 in the Block Machining area of Pod 20 and my job was the wash tank. My job there was to wash engine blocks with their crankshaft and then transfer the block to a table to put in various plugs. Over time, I was cross-trained at the hone machines, which is responsible for cutting the inside of the cylinders to the appropriate size and crosshatch. Lot attendants are primarily responsible for gather all manner of carts from the parking lot as well helping customers load/unload items to/from their vehicles.
