Nick has been a massive help since starting my career in recruitment. His training sessions are always very interactive and highly beneficial, using a hands on approach. Nick makes sure to properly explain the theory behind certain recruitment concepts and then follows this with examples of real-life scenarios of when such theories would be used. Nick continues to offer support post training and always checks in to see how I am doing. He is an excellent Learning and Development Manager and a huge asset to PRG.

Nick was a massive help for me at the start to my recruitment career. He is a great teacher and takes the time to actually help you understand the reasons behind what is being taught, rather than firing information in the hope it sticks. His sessions are engaging and he's always been on hand with follow up support when needed. Nick genuinely cares about the success of his students and is a massive asset to PRG.

After the return of my Area Manager I was offered the opportunity to manager the Bristol Broadmead stores of T-mobile. One branch that I had previously established as the highest volume store on the area, and a new store opening situated at the entrance of the new shopping development at Cabots Circus in Bristol City Centre.Despite a challenging trading enviroment and shortage in permanent staff, the two stores had a very successful Quarter 4, achieving sales targets.

    • Area Manager
      • Jan 2008 - Nov 2008

After flourishing in my first year with T-mobile retail, continually achieving volume and customer service standard targets at store level, I earned the opportunity to apply myself in a field based role, in a seconded position as Area Manager/ Designate Of Authority, for the South West area of T-mobile during the Area Mangers maternity leave. During this period I was accountable for the performance of the ten stores across the area. My role involved strategic planning to achieve company targets both against volume and key customer service criteria. I was responsible for the cascade of information from the centre, area wide planning and organisation, identifying opportunities and implementing strategies, training and development as well as coaching and supporting and reviewing the managers across the area.
