  I have undertaken various roles at Updraft (an Origin Systems company):Business DevelopmentUpdraft has a notable presence in the market, boasting over 50 listed companies in South Africa. My role includes lead generation, system demonstration, contract negotiation and closing. Notable deals in which I have closed include, American Tower Corporation (communications infrastructure), Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (pension funds), Nedbank Ltd (banking, finance and insurance), Sovereign Foods (production) and Prime Investments (niche financial services provider). Client RelationsThis role is multi-faceted and includes management of client implementations, day-to-day support, identification and analysis of legal processes and proposing automated solutions. System ConfigurationThis process involves deconstructing legal agreements and on a broader level, a client's legal processes and automating these using Updraft's document and workflow generation engine. On a high level this involves interpretation intricate understanding of the legal agreement at hand, it's variability and then building a decision-tree matrix which allows users to quickly and efficiently draft the agreement or document. Product Development- Insurance: developing and implementing a broker solution for one of South Africa's largest insurers. The product manages the take-on of brokers in an end-to-end process which includes integrated business rules, broker collaboration portal and real time reporting capabilities.- Human Resources: developing and implementing solution for use in HR departments. This specific solution drives an interactive process of candidate recruitment and signing, including a dynamic approval process driven by the details in the employment contract. - Lease Management- EWP Legal assistance productFinanceI oversee the day-to-day financial running and well-being of the company.
