I performed research into GPS spoofing including spoofing attack methodologies, detection systems, and attack impact analysis on various GPS-based systems. The systems analyzed included GPS-based attitude estimation systems, INS/GPS integrated systems, and ADS-B airplane location tracking systems. The goal of this research was to devise novel attack strategies and detection systems in the aim of securing GPS receivers. Developed test strategies and procedures for next-generation DRAM chips. These test procedures served to stress the physical operation of each chip so that transistor defects could be observed and repaired. This internship also included a 3 month long C++ project to examine burn-in test data and search for specific transistor failure patterns. Developed a Windows GUI application using the Qt C++ library. The GUI served as an interface for a radio communications project in which numerous input and output channels, which managed short range radio communications, needed to be monitored and mapped between one another. The GUI also managed telemetry data for the communications hardware and server hardware that handled the digital signal processing and implementation of the radio communications network.
