As part of the Network Admin team it is my responsibility to oversee, monitor, and maintain the physical and technical network functionality of one of the largest internet service providers in Northeastern Colorado and Southwestern Nebraska. With this duty I have Installed, monitored and maintained carrier grade point to point and point to multi point wireless networks that cover over 6000 sq miles. Including frequency planning, link calculation, tower management and upgrades. I am responsible for planning, mapping, and implementation of fiber-to-home and business fiber optic services. Planned high count fiber trunk systems and mapped installation plans for construction crews. I also specialize in fusion splicing and termination for residential and commercial applications. I monitor all parts of the network including tower and node power, battery backups, core switches, backhaul radios, customer wireless access points and customer access switches for quick diagnostics to provide little or no down time. I create user manuals and guides for our services that help end users with information and diagnostic information. I have multiple commercial clients and am responsible for their IT needs. I build, install and maintain Network Attached Storage servers, troubleshoot and diagnose network problems as well as connectivity to printers and other network assets. I also handle Webmaster and design. I work with customers’ web needs registering domains, setting up websites on a Debian web server with experience on DTC and ISPConfig hosting platforms. Also help develop and design websites. I have experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As well as experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla.
