Bio
Jon Northorpe
I have known Nick for a number of years both through his time at Blue Circle/Kings and more recently at Global Warehousing & Logistics (GWL). Nick has a broad range of skills with a proven track record for the implementation of both green and brownfield operations. Through the implementation of operations for GWL he was accountable for the setting up of a new site, appointment of staff, negotiation of IR and supplier agreements, budgetary requirements including OP-EX and, CAP-EX requirements and proved himself both to be a lateral thinker and resourceful. Nick was also responsible for the sourcing, selection and implementation of a WMS for the business and the development of a full OHS system to ensure the business was compliant on all fronts Nick is process driven with a solid analytical bent that has enabled him to become well respected within the industry as a resourceful, outcome focussed individual who is an asset to any organisation.
