Bio
Jay Hatch, CPRP
I have had the pleasure of working with Nick during the last two seasons with the Florida Collegiate Summer League. During the 1st season, Nick was the broadcast intern for the Orlando Freedom. His professionalism and knowledge of sports and broadcast set the bar for the future of the Florida League broadcast program. He consistently did a great job and provided an informed and entertaining broadcast for our fans. During the 2nd season, he helped with the leagues launching of television broadcasts. With his expertise and knowledge, he elevated the quality of the product that was being produced and helped turn it into something the Florida League could be proud of. Nick has a bright future ahead of him in the sports broadcast world and I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again.
Steve Berrey
Nick took over from day one as the Managing Editor - even though he wasn't given the title until a month later. He was timely with his articles, in depth with his research and punctual with his deadlines. I saw in Nick that ability to multi-task - managing to do radio play-by-play and still write a game summary. Nick will be an asset to whomever hires him in radio journalism.
