Ah man, I shoulda ran, why’d I play that damn hand? I’d a rather ate sand, than get slammed into Short Stack Land, a destination never planned, like red skin overtanned. Will I be Big Papi fanned? A blockbuster panned? A platoon undermanned? Or a rabid underdog like the 2001 Pats, with a firm grip on the stats, prowling by the button like a lion or a bat that’ll pounce just like that, after setting a trap with an allin that's fat to double my stack. I am living my dream, a Darwinist scheme, since I stopped teaching and turned to the tables. Now I set traps and swindle as much as I’m able. Haunted by hands I didn't fold, trusting my reads and betting bold, trading stamina for wisdom as I grow old, I used to ignore what I was told, now I'm free as a bird dodging starvation and cold.
