I've worked with Nick for the past few years as his communications counterpart in a partner organization and on LIIF's social justice and racial equity committee. Nick works extremely well in collaboration, facilitating creative and strategic conversations and consistently being the voice in the room to push for courageous pursuit of mission, boldness in communications and vulnerability in team dynamics. A director once called him her "conscience" because he is deeply committed to systems change regardless of "business as usual." Nick is well-read and strategic in the realms of politics and progressive causes and an excellent facilitator and content creator. Perhaps most importantly, he is a pleasure to work with, bringing his sense of humor and true self to work every day.

FeelGood is a youth leadership program addressing the systemic causes of humanity’s most pressing challenges. Students form strong communities of practice where they run a social enterprise—a grilled cheese deli—to raise money to address these challenges while educating the public on our collective responsibility to respond. In the process students gain critical business, leadership and teamwork skills that serve them throughout their lives. 100 percent of what students raise is invested in the Commitment 2030 Fund - comprised of four partner organizations that align themselves with the UN's Global Goals for sustainability development (SDGs).
