  As a Software Development Manager, I help Zafire grow in the tech world.Delivering solutions for leading airlines such as Qantas, Emirates, SAS, WFS, Wideroe, and others.Some of the solutions included hardware and software, such as finger scanners for bag scanning, NFC Bag tag printing with printers, to Scandit AR scanning solutions, AR glasses for bag scanning, and much more.Not limited to airline software, I play a key role in the mobile and future solutions of Zafire for our Service field software, SMART, helping to design and restyle our successful and highly customisable, dynamic process, data-capturing application SmartMobile.In addition, I brought our internal software development lifecycle up-to-date by integrating key tools from Atlassian like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket, cementing them as core components of Zafire's processes. I implemented Jenkins automated builds for CI/CD of our mobile apps and developed mobile solutions that work for all our customers with a single codebase.With my team, we have maintained and offered library upgrades focusing on security updates and keeping our solutions up-to-date with the latest SDKs and frameworks, ensuring we support both old and new Android & iOS versions.I was part of the key shift from on-premises hardware and Rackspace Dedicated servers to platforms like Azure.At the same time, I am part of the Tech Services team and Software Development team as a key member who is able to coordinate solutions that utilise Azure and cloud options.I suggested and worked with new solutions for modernising our systems, such as the ELK suite, Bugsense bug trackers, and many more internal tools.Part of my day-to-day job is providing estimates for customer changes, working closely with our development team in the UK, managing offshore development teams, working with our APAC team, working on PoC proposals, RFP bids with sales, and assisting our commercial team in technical conversations with customers.
