While working with LUG Sports I planned, oversaw, and managed a sports league for students at Acadia University that generated over $50,000 in revenue. Our sports included a Hockey league, Softball league and Golf and Spikeball tournaments. Planning events for LUG players and hosting sponsored events to promote the LUG brand to students. Secured partnerships with multiple businesses in Wolfville (Joes Food Emporium, The Church, and The Anvil). Responsible for planning events with internal stakeholders (LUG corporate) and external stakeholders (Town of Wolfville, Acadia University, LUG Sponsors and event venues).

Throughout my time at PMco. I oversaw managing job sites on a day to day basis, reporting to the Project Manager. My duties included; booking and managing trades, creating project timelines, ensuring safe worksites, managing material deliveries, coordinating inspections with the city, doing weekly site walks with project owners, budgeting, completing daily logs, managing deficiencies, property management for clients and preparing proposals. At Whitestone my role included planning, overseeing, and managing up to $20 million in new construction, coordinating trades and crews for 20+ job sites, ensuring safe and clean work sites, material delivery and removal, walkthroughs of homes with owners, general maintenance and upkeep on commercial rental properties, handling deficiencies and final details in a home.

Along with two partners, I discovered a gap in our school merchandise market - there were no Acadia branded shaker cups or sports drink bottles available to show the pride in our school. After identifying the opportunity, we met with the school to seek approval to use the Acadia University logo on our products. Once secured, we then developed a design and sourced a reliable supplier to print and provide high quality shaker bottles. We pitched our concept to a room of peers from our Entrepreneurship and Innovation class for feedback and potential improvements for the product. Upon delivery of our initial shipment of 100 bottles, we marketed them through multiple streams: social media, local athlete influencers, advertising through school media platforms and posters targeting students and Alumni. Since launch, we have received requests from local business to provide similar high quality promotional products to support their brands and now offer bulk and small order custom merchandise design, printing and supply.
