Stitch by Stitch is a B2B dressmaker’s workshop, who has his working ethics based on eco friendliness and sustainability. The special approach of our company is to work with professional female tailors who had to flat their countries as a result of war or political persecution. Most of the women are refugees and came to Germany after a long and dangerous escape. The women bring traditional and very valuable techniques with them, and most of them had been working already as tailor. The goal of Stitch by Stitch consists of two parts. First of all, we want to support the integration process of our employees: In our company they can complete an apprenticeship and receive further qualification through German language courses, private coaching or further training. The individual professional advancement goes along with our desire of making sure that we can transfer our cultural values to the next generation. Secondly, we offer fashion labels the opportunity to produce small series (1-250 units) or prototypes in our manufacturing facility. Not only will they have access to our excellent tailors, who are bringing along traditional techniques in the sewing and stitching craftmanship. Our customers have also the opportunity to produce in a regional, transparent and fair environment. Since 2019 we have created our own fashion line as well. We base our designs on a cross-culture collaboration with our tailors and on using solely certified sustainable material: e.g. organic cotton, bamboo, etc. and an upcycled fabric made 100% out of PET-Bottles. (bluesign & Oekotex certified, PTFE-free, PFC-free, climate neutral). Show less
