  I worked as an intern on a community project in South Seattle to collect and analyze moss samples to identify air pollution disparities in the Duwamish Valley. In this role, I mentored high school students of color in environmental justice advocacy and college preparedness. I also helped to collect and analyze data to map heavy metal pollution hot spots in South Seattle neighborhoods.
