Daily job responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Receiving and troubleshooting hardware to include laptops, desktops, docking stations, printers/scanners, monitors, cabling, cameras, switches/routers, and tablets. -Conduct printer maintenance as needed to include replacing maintenance kits, printer rollers, lift drivers, and ink cartridges. Conducted printer cleaning through automatic and manual procedures. -Diagnosing issues with hardware and contacting appropriate vendor to schedule a repair or order parts. -Receive ordered parts and complete any in-house repairs required for equipment. -Assist Analyst I personnel with any technical issues that may arise to include OS and software issues if required. -Sanitize HDD/SSD hard drives per government procedure to include degaussing/destroying HDD's and disintegrating SSD's. This includes filling out any required paperwork for proper turn in and documentation. -Maintain and report monthly ticket numbers through the use of a self-made Excel spreadsheet detailing clearly the number of tickets closed, status of equipment/parts ordered, status of repairs, and number of hard drives properly sanitized per month. -Served as the vendor point of contact regarding any warranty calls or services required for equipment, escorting technicians on site and reporting back once the technician has left the premises.
